Robina Heath Precinct - On Site Progress

Glenzeil are close to completion of the addition to the Robina Hospital for Queensland Health; The Health Precinct at Robina.

The project is progressing well with finishing trades working on all levels.  The multidisciplinary clinics on levels one and two comprising consult rooms, allied treatment area and gymnasium are near completion.  Level 3, home to the new Child Youth and Families centre brings to fruition Queensland Health’s vision to relocate to Robina existing QH facilities across the city and place them under the one roof to serve the community in a prime location close to the existing hospital.  Glenzeil were awarded the level 4 fit out works in the middle of the project and are undertaking the new administrative area for the Queensland Health hierarchy with workstations, joinery and services, all expected to be completed in March.

Glenzeil have worked tirelessly with consultants and Queensland Health, with a ‘can do’ approach to meet QH expectations, to provide a completed project in 40 weeks; no mean feat with a State election announced for late March and given the scope of the project. Final works are progressing to the 8,000m2 open area car park and service yard area with the hard and soft scape landscaping taking shape.  The secure 600m2 undercroft carpark is close to finished.  All structural elements on the project are complete and all major deliveries received.  External perimeter scaffold has been removed revealing a finished terracotta tile and alpolic façade.  Future access to the external façade is by boom lift.  Queensland Fire & Rescue Services inspection was held to meet the programme and final commissioning and defects are well advanced.

The project is due for completion in late March.

500 Queen Street, Brisbane

Glenzeil have been engaged to bring new life to the exterior of 500 Queen Street; an office tower located in the heart of Brisbane CBD.

Works include the painting and tiling of the façade, installation of lighting, decorative screens and landscaping to enhance the exterior appearance of the structure. The pedestrian footpaths will also be lifted and retiled to create a harmonic atmosphere to the area.

Works for the project will be undertaken across all hours in order to avoid disruption to other businesses operating in the area. As a result, the project will  require extensive coordination from the Glenzeil Management team. See the above artist impressions.
